What's in the box?
After Christmas time, we had lots of toys to play with. So, we take some of them and we are learning the names and the colours!

It's time for Handa's surprise
In P5 we are studying seven different fruits and the animals from the jungle through Handa's surprise story. It is a really colourful and sweet story from an African girl, Handa, who goes to vist her friend Akeyo. She brought a surprise for her!

December means ...
As the Winter is coming, Christmas time and New Year, too.
We wish you (people from all over the world) a very good one.
We find Happy Xmas song by John Lennon as a perfect image of our best desires for all. It was composed by him and Yoko Ono in 1971. The lyric was based on a campaign against the Vietnam War. The message is clear: "war is over (if you want)".
Amb una de les cançons més conegudes del mísitc John Lennon, amb un clar contingut de lluita per la pau i drets de tota la humanitat, volem desitjar-vos una bona entrada a l'estació hivernal i dolces festes de Nadal.

The green leaf theatre
Un cop més, l'experiència ens ha demostrat que la col·laboració entre els grans i els petits afavoreix l'aprenentage, no només de la llengua sinó també de les relacions personals.

Dancing in the Hallow evening!
On 31st October an annual celebration takes place in the English-speaking countries. This is a pagan celebration from the ancient Celtic tribes. During this evening children go out and play "trick or treat", wear costums, make bonfires, tell scary stories.
This is one way to say good bye to the old year and be ready to start the new one. We can observe that through the fall, the trees turn its leaves in to brown, red, and yellow and fall down.

El 31 d'octubre els països de parla anglesa celebren la coneguda festa de "Halloween". Té l'origen en la civilització cèltica localitzada al nord d'Escòcia al segle XX. Les disfresses, les tenebroses cançons i els jocs coneguts com "trick or treat" (truc o tracte) representen la fi de l'any natural. La natura ens ho mostra, la tardor marca l'època en què les fulles dels arbres canvien de color i cauen. Així, aquests es preparen per passar l'hivern i poder tornar a rebrotar a la primavera. Així es tanca un cicle vital.

ARE YOU SCARED!
Aquest final de trimestre estem treballant el tema de la por !
Are you scared?
Ho fem amb la Scary box, una capsa negra i vermella que quan la destapes és plena d'objectes que són scary, que fan por!.
A més estem llegint i treballant el llibre The Gruffalo!
On un ratolí molt intelligent (very clever) sap com salvar-se de ser menjat per la guineu (fox), l'òliba ( owl) i la serp (snake) inventant-se a terrible monster (The Gruffalo) però que en realitat si que viu al bosc que passarà al final ?
